Joytime in the Mountains - 2026!

We are excited about our first-ever three day ladies retreat at the Ridgecrest Conference Center in Black Mountain, NC.

Our theme is Encourage One Another!

The overall schedule of the retreat is as follows:

Friday:

• Dinner: 5:30-6:30pm

• Opening Sessions: 7pm-10pm

  • Worship with Weaver Family Worship

  • Interview with David Smallbone

  • Message by Dr. Joy

Saturday:

• Breakfast: 7:30am-8:30am

• Morning Sessions: 9:30am-noon

  • Worship with Weaver Family Worship

  • The Girl Talk Podcast Recording and Devotion Session

  • Interview with Helen Smallbone and her daughter-in-law, Courtney Smallbone

  • Ministry Activity

• Lunch: 12-1pm

• Afternoon free time

• 5:00pm - Special Encouragement Session you don’t want to miss

• Dinner 5:30pm-6:30pm

• Evening Sessions: 7pm-10pm

Sunday:

Special guests include: Weaver Family Worship (Mike Weaver of Big Daddy Weave and his family), The Light FM’s “Girl Talk” - the ladies of Girl Talk will be recording their podcast from Joytime in the Mountains on Saturday morning.

Our emcee is our dear friend Heath - also known by our sisterhood as “Sister Heather.”

Dr. Joy will interview David and Helen Smallbone and their daughter-in-law, Courtney. You will be so inspired by their stories!

We are excited to welcome Sidewalk Prophets to Joytime in the Mountains. They will be in concert on Saturday night (Oct 10).

Dr. Joy will give two encouraging messages during the weekend, and Sunday’s session will be led by Pastor Adam - Dr. Joy’s cousin.
