Believe the IMPOSSIBLE!

By

Jesus replied, “What is impossible with men is possible with God.” Luke 18:27  What a great reminder for us today—that our God is all about achieving the impossible in the most unlikely people and situations.  There is something inside of us that leaps for joy when we hear a story about someone who was born on the wrong side of the tracks who makes it to great success!  We want the underdog to win because there is beauty in seeing the impossible come to life.  The Bible is full of stories about unlikely people achieving impossible goals through the power of God.  God often chooses the unlikely to do the impossible to demonstrate His power and glory.  It is good for us to remember that with Him, ALL things are possible.  As believers in Christ, we must walk closely to Him, reading His Word, expecting to hear Him speak.  As we follow Him, He begins to plant His desires into our hearts and sometimes those desires are things that seem impossible.  Here is where faith comes into play.   Do we have the faith to believe He is able to achieve all things?  Do we really believe He can make the impossible happen in our own lives?  It’s one thing to see it in someone else’s life, but we often doubt when it comes to our own lives.  Today I want to remind you of how BIG this God we serve is.  There is nothing He cannot do and that includes in your life too.  Where are you doubting God’s ability?  What areas of your life are you not surrendering to Him, completely?  Listen my friend, whatever dream God has planted in your heart can be achieved through Him.  Ask Him to show you His will and walk boldly with amazing faith believing He is able to do the impossible!  Thanks for reading today!  ~Joy

Thanks so much for writing today! I feel like you we’re writing for me. God has placed a dream in my heart. I was excited when it was placed there and have pursued it, but the closer it gets to being carried out the more doubt grows in my mind. I am constantly questioning myself now. Thanks for posting what I needed to hear!!
